Seminar on the Research – My Story

Seminar on the Research – My Story

From April 17th to 20th, 2026, youth workers, sport professionals, and educators gathered in Corato, Italy for a dynamic Seminar on the research and organization of focus groups, coordinated by Beyond Borders. This activity focused on strengthening participants’ skills in conducting research and organizing focus groups around gender-related issues, equipping them with practical tools to collect, analyze, and interpret data. Through interactive sessions and collaborative work, participants explored methodologies that will directly contribute to the development of the upcoming training module and the “My Story” Guidelines.

The seminar brought together 24 participants who worked on creating survey templates, research methodology guides, and draft campaign strategies tailored to their national contexts. By the end of the activity, participants not only enhanced their understanding of gender-related topics but also developed concrete action plans to be implemented in their communities. This seminar represents an important step toward building impactful, evidence-based campaigns and fostering inclusive approaches in youth work and sport.
