Training Guidelines – MindGame

Training Guidelines – MindGame

📘 We are pleased to present the Training Guidelines developed within the MindGame project 🧠⚽

The Guidelines are available in five languages – English, Portuguese, Italian, Serbian, and Bulgarian – and provide a standardized approach across partner countries, ensuring consistent implementation.

They equip coaches and trainers with tools to better understand mental health challenges and address them through sport, improving accessibility for marginalized youth, girls, and children with disabilities. Young athletes gain access to sport-based mental health strategies, while coaches and club managers are empowered to act as mental health allies in their communities 🤝✨

Mind Game initiative will gather coaches, youth workers, mental health professionals, and sports practitioners from partner countries to exchange best practices on using sports as a tool for mental well-being and inclusion; will deliver a Training Guidelines document that provides practical methods and strategies for using sports as a tool to promote mental health, foster inclusion, and create safe sports environments; will equip coaches from grassroots sports clubs and schools across all partner countries with new methodologies on mental health, inclusion and safe sports environment; will raise awareness among young people, sports organizations, and policymakers about the benefits of inclusive and mental health-friendly sports environments. Mind Game project is co-financed by the European Union and is implemented in Portugal, Serbia, Italy and Bulgaria from October 2025 to September 2026.
