💬 As part of the My Story – Storytelling to Combat Gender-Based Inequalities in European and MEDA Countries project, a series of focus groups brought together young people in each partner country to discuss gender equality and the position of girls and young women in their communities.
The discussions focused on five key themes: education and employment, sport and physical activity, decision-making and civic participation, gender-based violence and safety, and media representation and gender stereotypes. Participants shared their experiences, identified barriers, and proposed ideas for creating more equal and supportive communities.
The insights collected through these focus groups will contribute to recommendations for improving the visibility, inclusion, and opportunities of girls and young women, while supporting the development of future project activities.
