From 18–21 January 2026, partners gathered in Đakovo, Croatia for the Seminar on Exchange of Good Practices, coordinated by BK Lastavica. The seminar brought together teams of experts in inclusive sports, Boccia, social inclusion and non-formal education to share successful practices from local and national levels. Through presentations, discussions and a field visit to a local Boccia training session, participants explored key challenges and opportunities for adapting Boccia in an inclusive way. The seminar also marked the start of the joint work on developing the Guidelines, with partners defining structure, roles, timelines and quality standards for the upcoming phase.

🚀 Hate Fighters Network 🇷🇸, together with Faculty for Sport and Physical Education Fakultet sporta i fizičkog vaspitanja Niš🇷🇸, Boccia klub Lastavice🇭🇷, Geo Vibe Lab Italy🇮🇹 and Asociatia Suflet Senin🇷🇴, is launching the project “Inclusive Boccia” to break down barriers and open new sport opportunities for children with disabilities across Europe.
🎯 What’s the goal?
To adapt the parasport Boccia into a fully inclusive and empowering experience for children and youth with disabilities — and to help coaches, educators and clubs do the same in their communities.

✔️ Develop and publish practical guidelines for inclusive Boccia programs
✔️ Train coaches and sport educators in inclusive methods
✔️ Launch local Boccia initiatives for ongoing participation
✔️ Raise awareness and advocate for accessible sport opportunities
